I have played several type characters now and ran into something interesting the other day. No one was adventuring on the server at the time so I could not ask for clarification (or cry on anyones shoulder).

When all the other type characters die, their corpse (and equipment) is still available for quite some time so you can retrieve your items and continue on.

When my thief died, the corpse was not there when I returned (about 5 minutes or less later) and neither was any of the equipment. As I was quite small and had nothing or real significance, it was easy enough to regain. Question is... Is this normal for thieves or a bug?

It's not a 'thieves' thing but it is a 'occasional bad luck' thing.
