dunno. I upgraded it cause the mud's hosting provider said I had to, on account of how someone published a security exploit for the old version that let people execute their own code on the server.

Bah, scripts. I've had it happen to a phpBB before. Guy popped on and cleared everything, made it look like he hacked the site and tried to act all uppity just because he didn't like the comments we were writing. What a buncha losers.

Yeah, really. Someone does a genuine hack of your site, and puts one of those big ANSI sigs on it, it's a pain in the ass. But when they just use a script they downloaded off the internet and ran and _still_ put a big hax0r-style ANSI graphic up there like they're the original frickin' Kaos Krew or something, it's just pathetic.
I bet they didn't even draw it themselves.
