He helped oversee a lot of the early Abandoned Codex stuff plot-wise and so forth. Nice guy, but he left after the first six or so months mainly from RL commitments (and possibly another mud, I can never keep track of who's doing what).

Can we get a Rune for our mud? Someone with that title (and actually did it) would be GREAT!

Where was Pachelbel? Was it like what Arathnos is or was it xantheus or something? and does it still exist?

Me thinks it was the original name before storyline was created.

Or if it wasn't Gareth's chosen name (which I figure is most likely, at least as a temporary name), it might have simply been the default for Smaug back then. I'm not familiar with 1.04..or 1.02, or whatever it is AC was built on...always get that last digit confused. Anyway, it wouldn't surprise me, but I think it was just the temp name for the time being, prestoryline, and thus has nothing to do with the current mud. Mayhaps Gareth is/was a big fan of Pachelbel's Canon? Good song...that's my ring tone on me cellphone.
