This is a list of some level 20ish eq that I generaly use. Most of it is easy to get your hands on, but some like the shawls are downright rare.

Some good lowbie eq for level 25-30ish people, if you're a ranger or warrior or thief:

light-anything
rings-opal rings
neck-shawls are too rare; flame red capes are good
body-Shaman Plate
head-mithril helm or beanie
arms-doom armguards
legs-mail leggings or something, dunno
feet-silver boots
hands-gaunts of ogre power
waist-mithril girth
about-thick beast furs or beginning layers (Scarlet Cape, cloak of shark skin)
wielded-adamantite battleaxe
dualwielded-same (get em enchanted +4)
shield if no dualwield-I dunno
held if no dualwield-Adventurer's Guide most likely
ears-white deerbone crescent
eyes-Titanic mask of Gemini

if you don't need the full str benefits of the ogre gauntlets they actually stink because of the ac reduction. The ornately designed gauntlets in the astral plane are much better. I think the are around mid 20's for level. My fighter usually doesn't need all that strength so I use the ornate ones instead.

Hmm, those shawls suck so it doesn't really matter if they are rare or not... and I'm bummed that I never saw any of you guys around level 20, because you would have been dead if you were wearing that crappy eq. haha

I was talking more of leveling up eq than pkilling eq. After all, I am peaceful......
