Post locations of your favourite deathtraps here. In order to keep this thread useful I'll be deleting any posts that aren't directly on topic.

House of Pancakes! In the forest west of Xantheus. I like going there for breakfast.

What screwed me the most with that DT was that it was in the one area of the mud where I could have SWORN there should be more areas that you can get to. Either randomly or when a new area came in, I'd immediately run over there and start searching for it.... and wind up squashed. I even scryed into it the first time and SAW the name and rushed in thinking there'd be a guy with pancakes there.

I boarded up the House of Pancakes last year on the grounds that it was silly.

Firstly, if you're looking around in Jahovazith, dont go straight north...

My mostest favoritest death trap in the world is the blinding light in flipping Vamp town (Inuzokacefuvil). It's 3 west from the gated healers enterance in the main stretch of town, and I've hit that fucker a good 4 times.

There's one in Sludig's Keep... if you're clever enough to figure out how to get to it though it means you read the description and would know not to try anything unless you're flying.

Theres one in 'This Place' somewhere after you kill the black dragon, but its really hard to get to cause in order to kill the dragon you have to say the phrase exactly as the mob program has it which SUCKS!

There's a death trap in the hellspires. I think it is northeast and then northeast again from the first pillar. Be careful around there!

There's the one right by the cave bear... that the one you mean? Or is it one of the many in the frozen wastes by the first pillar?

Do they have to be favourites? I can just start listing off ones I've visited (and or seen at least).

Favourite would have to be house of pancakes because it was silly.
As it's no-longer reachable by easy means, my close second would have to be the one in Jhovazith as it's so irritatingly close to the entrance. Very Happy
That's followed closely by the garden DT in hellspires - I mean, come on. It lures you with something shiny!

For what it's worth, there's a broken deathtrap in Arachnos. the room has no exits, and the desc. describes your horrible horrible demise, but nothing happens.

There's the Ice Flow in Manilla mountains

There's at least 4 in the Elven tower
- two involve being squashed by machinery / walls - again, irritatingly close to the entrance and main part of the area.
- one involves falling to your death as you chew through the side of the well leading to Plurtimus... ...well, there's actually 4 here, but they're all the same DT so I'm only counting it once.
- one I forget what it does. Razz

There's a couple in Inuzokacefuvil (sp?)... the one that stands out most is the one that involves some shadowy spirit's rending you into little pieces (East of the first intersection you reach basically).

I've since lost my log of each DT Ronin's ben put through over the years sadly. It was quite a long list.

When Inuzokacefuvil was first put in I walked into a room that was a DT, but wasn't suppose to be one. Thanks a lot.

In the Hobgoblin part of Shattered Refuge there's a prison cell that has no exits and is norecall. That's basicly a deathtrap when you're level 12 and don't have karma.
