Yes, but in Arkansas the Personal Computer is feared as a tool of the Dark Lord Satan, and running water is still treated with guarded suspicion. |

ok! I'm totally for toronto... being from the freezing north of Michigan. the money thing is an issue as well as i go to college and am looking to save up for a house some time in the next five years (random time). I'd be in for anything you can dish up ... excepting that i don't drink. (I do stupid things anyway. The drinking could be dangerous... and cause fights... i.e. my boyfriend and the other codex guys) If you didn't have LARP, i'd dress up anyway. I'd want to come as Avianna but I'm guessing my boyfriend (Lycaeth) will be having me as Lily....I may just show up with a bag just of costumes so I can play them all potentially. We shall see... but as locations go... i'm yelling toronto at the top of my lungs and requesting a time of year that relatively warm so I can actually wear the skimpy LARP-wear i'll be making. _________________ "She walks in beauty like the night

That could be a decent compromise, actually. Anyone who's able and willing to dress up should do so (fancy dress, prizes for anyone who makes a good effort), and then whether or not we run LARP and what the nature of it would be, would depend on who showed up in what.
That said, there's a chance I'll be moving further east at some point this year but it's still very uncertain, so I still can't fix a date for a Toronto trip. |

so, we're still working on a date?
i'm done with skrewl on may 12th, and will be moved back "home" within a day or two there after- so mid to late may sounds perfect for this.
now... my vote is "other canada". more specificly, i'm lazy and want it in Sault St. Marie - Canada...because that's only like an hour-some from me
i'll deffinitly come in costume, regardless of larping. table-top AC sounds good too, though.
to say nothing of a night of heavy drinking/carausing!
and did some one mention skimpy-larp wear? hmmm.... _________________ -----------------------

Is uh...St whatever Canada closer to Ohio than Toronto? Cause if so I second that. Anything that cuts down on the driving for the buncha NE Ohio fellas is a good thing.....cause we're all lazy bastards as well. _________________ "Eye level for a kender is door-lock height for the same reason a chipmunk has extra cheek space."

i can't promise it's closer...it's probably a smidge farther, but it'd be a WHOLE lot nicer drive- interstate all the way, and you wouldn't have to drive through as many big cities. Looking at the way to Toranto, it kinda sucks to get there, no matter where you are. Detroit, Saginaw, Port Huron, Flint- all terrible towns. _________________ -----------------------

I would love to come, depending on when and where it is, although I doubt I will be able to for school reasons. I'm a New Yorker so Canada is just...far up north for me. Have we narrowed it down any? _________________ if you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals : sirius black, harry potter and the goblet of fire |
