Still... I can't vote for someone I've never even heard of much less met... wouldn't make any sense at all. I don't know what they've done to deserve being in the Hall of Heroes so...they are going vote-less. _________________ "She walks in beauty like the night

Maybe I should put the proviso in the next poll that if you've never heard of more than three quarters of the names on the list then don't vote, cause it ends up skewing the results in the opposite direction from the purpose the Halls were intended for - i.e. educating newer characters about ancient history. |

My vote goes for Drak. I probably would have never made it far on the mud, and had as strong a character if it hadn't been for him. He was extremely helpful to new players. |

if they aren't talked about then they aren't much of a hero now are they?
P.S. i've been on for upwards of two years so there has been plenty of time. _________________ "She walks in beauty like the night

Firstly, we never really seem to talk about anyone that isn't around and active unless it's applicable to a current argument or quest or if it's to point out their absence. Secondly, reiterating what Gareth said, the intension is to educate newer chars about the history, implying that there is a lack of knowledge about the history. Some of the greatest heroes in the mud's time may be known by only one or two players currently active on the mud. If you're relying on those couple people to gab daily about how great someone is...you're SOL. _________________ "Eye level for a kender is door-lock height for the same reason a chipmunk has extra cheek space."

So, uh...
I want my statue made out of solid Onyx!
With sapphire eyes!
And a large man-section! _________________ "Sleep well, sweet child... the lord holds thee now." |

I thought they were supposed to be a somewhat accurate representation of the hero.... _________________ "Eye level for a kender is door-lock height for the same reason a chipmunk has extra cheek space."

In that case, seph's statue would be just the pedestal... he doesnt really exist anymore |
