okay so we need to brainstorm here on possible ways that items can disappear so G will give me and those who help me brainstorm lots of qp.
My idea so far is get into a fight and your eq gets damaged and scraps but because the person blinked and like 50 mobs are attacking them they cant see it. ... I don't think that will count hey someone come up with a plan

okay how about this.
I took my alt to mistress talasi quit and logged back in
i repeated this a couple of times until my inventory was full. Then when I did it again it said a burlap sack is delivered into your hands. But when i checked my inventory i still had the same number of sacks as before. I repeated this a couple of times and I still had only 3 sacks and 2 eyes of enlightment. There fore does this prove that my eq was disappearing because it says i got something but yet i don't have it?

No, that doesn't count. That isn't equipment going missing, that's just a message saying you've been given eq when you (quite rightly) haven't been (because your inventory is full).

It's a very specific bug I'm looking for, one which people have reported happening even when logging out in their clan hall.

I was on my parents computer a few days ago and i came across an old log for a bug that happened to me and... hmm... unther? A while back
I went to repair my equipment, didnt notice how low of health i was, died from re-equipping. Came back, got all cor, but as I wore stuff it would disappear. Not even invis or anything either. For every piece of disappearing equipment a sigil of orde would pop. Pretty quick my eq was totally gone and i just had sigils in my inventory and in the corpse. Unther came along, got one and dropped it. He began tinkering with the other sigils to figure out wth happened when a bird came in and picked up a sigil. Unther tried to purge the bird and BAM! No more mud. When it came up I had nothing left and G had to restore an old pfile.

I have the full log, if you want it.

Gareth! It's not the bug itself, because I didnt lose any equipment, but read my latest transcript!!! I think I caught it happening, all my eq was suddenly removed when the hour changed right as I logged on.
