In the code, mobs have an "exp" field. There doesn't seem to be any ingame consequences of it as far as I can tell, it may be a hangover of some older code. So when the group_gain function for giving exp out is called when a group kill happens, the mob gains exp and the mud carries on happily.
However, mobs don't have a qps field in their data structure. So when a charmie with an avatar gets a kill, the mud tries to give it qps, fails, and crashes. Only now it doesn't, cause I've made it just skip that step for NPCs. |

| I'm pretty bummed too Vicks. I wanted to waste the entire night on the mud, but I'm getting things done instead so I can spend tons of time on there once it's back up. |
